I have several times. I was in them in high school (played guitar) and sang for 2 in college. My wife wants me to get into it again.
that'd be a blast -- if i knew how to play an instrument. i just want to be on stage, drink beer, get chicks and end up on mtv cribs.
I'm looking to jam some if anyone's looking for a little funky. I can do without the glam metal revival thoughts, though.

I don't do anything but acoustic guitar, and I'm a folkie at heart.

no shit larry. I was thinking the same thing.
I've owned three guitars in my life and one bass. I still can't play. Freak, if you will teach me how to play I will join your band. But I ain't doing any Trixter covers.

well, who's got some drums i can bang on? i have always wanted to learn to play an instrument. is piano difficult?
if you're good at one instrument is it easier to pick up another? or does that make it more difficult?

Makes it MUCH easier. I learned piano when I was a little kid. Then at 13 I got my first guitar. I was able to improve at a real fast pace due to the piano lessons. I was jammin' on Dokken by 14!!!
