Stumbled upon this thread over at Neworleanshornets.com . . . . Yeah, yeah you have to take anything that is posted on the Net as being fact with a grain of salt :) . . . . B-U-T, this post had more information on what's going on economically in the New Orleans area (more or less, things are starting to look pretty good down there in certain industries) vs. what I've been reading in the Obsever/hearing on the local radio airwaves . . . 'NoLa is a dump . . . . . It can't handle a 2nd pro team . . No way can they sell enough season tixs to lure the Hornets down there . . . The league is going to reject the application . . . etc.'

I was just over at the Charlotte.com Hornets board , it has gotten so out of control it is just a waste of time to go over there.
