Loft bed

I am in the process of designing and building a loft bed for my 5 yr old son. i want it to resemble a tree house. Going to put a small lattice porch on it and put in some greenery, paint a tree on the wall and some "backyard" landscape throught the rest of the room. Considering putting in a slide to get out of the bed. Well that is my plan...I have some sketches but no official plans. I don't suppose anyone has any they's like to share?

Better have a side rail of some sort.

I have a feeling your a very cool mom!Thanks! and either way, he's gonna have a far out bedroom. I have made sure that they all do. Our two middle boys share a room and they chose a beach/tiki theme. When it is complete I will have to post pictures. There is seagrass mats on the wall as wainscoting, a wood belly board on the wall, straw hats, tiki masks and statues....they love it.

Our 15yo boy has rubber matting as his flooring because he wanted to put his weight set in his room. Our 15 yo girl has carefully chosen bule, green and dark blue as her colors and we have all sorts of stuff for decorating.

As soon as I take this massage test (and hopefully pass) I will be finishing all these projects and will post pics.....if hubby lets me...he he he
