Great chance for y'all to see the future of hockey. Can the Pens slow down the streaking Canes? No Orpik 'revenge' tonight (not that anyone was going to do shit anyways), but we do have Stall vs Staal. The Pens picked up Jarko Ruttu in the offseason, he should piss off some Canes tonight.
You guys bringing John Grahme? After all those clips I had to endure of Ward's dominance over the Pens in his 1st NHL game?

Taped the game but haven't watched it yet. From what I heard it was a clean hit, but I'm sure Tripp will be whipping the Caniacs into a frenzy about the 'cheap hit'.

Smashmouth sports....ahhhhh, gotta love da'burgh.

Hurricanes right winger Trevor Letowski left the game at 8:40 of the opening period after absorbing a blind-side hit from Colby Armstrong of the Penguins.

Letowski, who had passed the puck to linemate Eric Belanger a second or so before Armstrong arrived, appeared to be struck square on the chin by Armstrong's shoulder, and seemed to be unconscious even before he hit the ice.

"He cut to the middle and had his head down," Armstrong. "He was looking at his pass, and I just hit him, like I always do.

"I obviously felt bad when I saw him [injured]. I didn't want that to happen. What can I say?"

Letowski bled heavily from the face and was taken to the hospital, but preliminary reports were that he was coherent and was expected to rejoin the team at some point in the evening. It was not known if he had medical clearance to accompany the Hurricanes on their post-game flight to Tampa, Fla

I don't like playing with the Hurricanes, they break too easily.

5-1.

Hey, a couple more last place finishes for you, and you might draft enough players to make the playoffs.

The Pens don't need any more draft picks, the dynasty is pretty much assembled. I was worried about being able to pay all those high draft picks, but last week a billionaire bought the team so things are looking pretty good.

That hit was ugly. I haven't been able to find an update on his condition, anyone know anything.
