3 minutes, 10 seconds is the most anyone can physically watch this guy.

he's the most annoying person on tv right now.

Seems to have the goods, though.

His act was good when he started, now it is just old.

I liked him in the late '90's when he just sat at the desk. Now he's a fucking monkey.

He blows. Watch his picks over a month or so. They pop up when he hypes them...then they go right back down. Remember Dan Dorfman on CNBC from the mid 90's? I remember....when I was a broker and he'd come on CNBC the phones would fly off the hook. The stocks he pumped would go up...then go back down by the end of the day.

LOL I never thought anyone was dumb enough to actually buy the stocks these dudes are pimping.

He annoys me as a TV personality. I have never paid attention to his stock 'suggestions'.

Had an economics professor at UNCW, Dr. Graham, that had the same mannerisms, pacing, and loud tyrades; he was fairly entertaining.

The overall track records of some of these stock pickers (not on a per-day basis, but over a year) are not bad. But you have to cherry pick, like in all investments, the ones that you understand and agree with why they'd go up... For instance, LVLT (level 3) was one of his picks that makes a lot of sense to me - Internet bandwidth is being consumed BIG time now, and they own a LOT of it... they don't make money yet, but once they start turning a profit you might see them jump significantly.

I used to think the same. I've watched a little more and most of the stuff he says makes some sense. He's definitely not the most annoying person on TV though, that honor goes to Nancy Grace.

He doesn't give the WHOLE picture. The guy's basically a TV personality that poses as a stock guru. He's wrong as often as he's right. Anyone that buys a stock based on what he says deserves to lose their money.

It's easier just to scan the recap.

At one point he was up to 14%

Does that take into account taxation and transaction fees?

Anyway - yeah. Nice post. Indexing is alot easier, balanced indexing is almost completely stress free.

So...with all his insane hype...sweating...jumping around...

He's behind every major index.

:newsmile27: :rock_band: :bananalama:

And I seriously doubt that takes into consideration the taxes from his buy/sell recommendations. Not to mention the transaction fees....:bitecurb:

He keeps pushing healthcare stocks. I understand it, but I think it's still to early unless you plan on sitting on it for long time.

That is a good fund. Wellington was the first fund I put into my IRA but if I had a chance to go DODGX, I would have done that instead. Both are superb.
