Finally, the Canes have owned the Pens. I thought the Pens looked pretty good, very quick. Nice game from Jordan Stall even though he didn't put up any points. The Canes weren't that impressive though. Hopefully they will get their shit together at the right time heading into the playoffs.

and for Tripp Tracy:

A minor penalty shall be imposed on a player who impedes the progress of an opponent by "hooking" with his stick.

just because refs have been calling hooking whenever the sticks are parallel to the ice doesn't mean a stick has to be parallel in order to be tripping you dumb shit.
I won't even start with the kicking motion comment, "This is where I get confused as a commentator".

I didn't hear Tripp talking about the hooking/tripping thing....

Pens looked very good, and they should, after so many high draft picks. Canes looked flat without much jump. They played hard, but just no life in them.

Crosby is sick. Flat out sick. He creates so much, makes a harmless play into a dangerous one.

Pens can be good in a year or 2, I just hope it's still in Pittsburgh.

Yeah, I love watching him play. There are so many times where it's just, 'Whoa, where did that come from?" I rewinded his 2nd goal about 5 times just because, like you said, it just comes out of nowhere.

mario went to KC today to tour the arena and talk with rpospective buyers, tomorrow he is meeting with some Pa people to discuss plan B.

well, I would hate to see Pitt lose the team, but folks also hated to see the Whalers leave too....I hated it for the league, but it worked out ok...
