XTi Firmware Update

Canon relased it's frist firmware update for the Xti today (ver 1.0.5). Per Canon's webpage it fixes a couple issues with the PictureBridge functions and improves communication with the 380 Flash.

I don't use the PictureBridge functions and I don't have a 380, so I'm inclined not to bother with updating - If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Is there any reason that I'm missing that I SHOULD upgrade?

check your camera's firmware version -- you may not need the upgrade

already checked - I've got 1.0.4 - but I'm still not convinced I NEED to upgrade. I dont really see a benefit to 1.0.5 (but I could be missing something), but if in a couple months 1.0.6 comes out and DOES have an improvement, will I be able to upgrade without having 1.0.5?

yeah, you won't need to upgrade the firmware.
