Scores for week June 3-June 9...

Since we already have sticky threads for 3 of the 4 areas, which is a great source of information for those particular areas,,,, it was suggested to make one thread for scores and game recaps only so that folks could go one place to get scores. Posting either place is fine, but we'll try this for awhile just for posting the scores and see how it works.....

Kannapolis at Stanly County, Sunday June 3, postponed due to rain,,, will be rescheduled for Wed.June 13.


Kannapolis' next game is now Tuesday June 5 at home against Wilkes County.

Eastern Randolph defeated High Point/Thomasville by a score of 11-8 on Tuesday night

Rowan County-13 over South Rowan-4 (final)

Rowan starter Cy Young and reliever Tanner Brown allowed only two hits thru 7 innings. Both hits were singles and both runners were picked off first base. South, who was undefeated in the division, mananged two runs on 2 hits late in the game.

Weston Church was 3-3 at the plate with 2 home runs and a double. He also scored 6 runs.

Rowan's only loss was in 10 innings to a quality Lexington team Sat. night.
