I've started this Area 2 thread hoping these teams are correct,,,,,,, hopefully someone more familiar with Area 2 will jump in and keep us updated. Thanks.

I dont think the wilmington paper even covers legion ball until they get close to the playoffs. So far ive only seen 1 very small acknowledgement that Post 10 had a game. I havent seen one since...

post 46 is 6-0. we travel to jacksonville tonight. its always a tightly contested ball game when we both get together. we were off for a while dealing with exams, graduation, then state games. its nice to get back into the grind.

morehead city moved to 8-0 tonight after wins this week over jacksonville (10-4) and brunswick co (15-7).

Is Jacksonville the second best team in this division? Have they played Morehead yet, and if so what were the score(s)?

I would definitely say Jacksonville is the 2nd best team in that league. Although Duplin Co. is usually pretty good as well, I would still give the nod to Jacksonville. Post 10 is usually strong but this year they only look tough when Mincey is pitching. So for this year I'd definitely go with J-Ville or Duplin as #2 in that division. Just my opinion though...

Very good question. One I wish I could answer...I dont know how many teams get in, but I only see morehead, duplin, jacksonville, and Post 10 getting in. Atleast those are the only ones who deserve to get in from the eastern part of area...Maybe brunswick
