Did someone mention BBQ?
Don't take BBQ anywhere close to an American Legion dugout ---- you may draw back a "nub" (I think they go too long between meals on game day) :56:

That's a pretty amazing win. How many players was Stanly missing? They've had internal issues that I'm sure still are affecting them.
Briggs & Levi were out for Lex. As far as I know, that's it.

Not sure about Stanley - heard rumors they had a couple on the bench that weren't going to get playing time last night???
For Lexington - in addition to Briggs and Levi at state games, one pitcher and two other starting position players weren't there at all (beach) and two other starters weren't able to play until 2nd half of the game due to missing this past Wednesday's game. Those two coming back from the beach, however, were huge as both contributed in the 5 run 7th.

Keith Carrigan (8 inning CG) kept the Post 115 hitters off balance all night. Alex Edwards provided the only K-Town run with a homer. Starter Rob Gurley battled his way in and out of trouble all night until the 6th inning when Post 51 blew a 4-1 game open to a 9-1 lead on a couple of K-Town errors (5 unearned runs) and some timely hits. The big hits being a bases-loaded bloop hit just fair down the 1st base-line and a bases-loaded double by Hunter Wyke. Cody Walker also provided some key hits.
