Mark, wish I could as much of a people person as your pics show you to be. The people shots are loaded with personality.:cheers2:

you know, it's funny you say that. I dont think I'm really that much of a "people" person. All of these people I'm really comfortable with, and even at that, most of these pics were taken from pretty far back.

I like being able to get close with a telephoto without being "intrusive". in the majority of these, the subject didnt know I was taking a picture, and only 2 were really "posed".

the other thing is I take a LOT of photos - probably keep less than 15%. I think that bioth gives me a large pool to draw from as well as gets the subjects "used" to teh camera.

The drawback with this however is that I'm really only comfortable taking pictures of the people I'm with. I've often seen someone that looks really interesting that I'd love to get some pics of, but I dont have the courage to go up and ask.

Well you got me fooled. Do you always have to get permission? How do you expect to get candid/real stuff? Its not like you`re going to publish and make any money. This is all just for fun, isn`t it?

I honestly don't know the legalities of it, but I still think it'd be awkward to get "caught" you know?
