i hope you guys are radey for pay back for last year this mark my ward UNC is going to back on Top on ACC with both Jay Williams andMike Dunleavy gone to NBA your chanes of going to win the ACC this year are not that

and with Jawad Williams Melvin Scott Jackie Manuel Will Johnson all back and with Rashad McCants Sean May Damion Grant Raymond Felton with this very good and young roster i relay cant see why cant UNC win at liste win games or even more and win the ACC

i dont think NCST wouid more good then Duke this year this year couid be a year not to remuber for duke and MD fan but it couid be a very good year for unc

I don't think State will be better than Duke, either, but I'll have to see UNC have a good year before I believe it. They were so bad last year, which made the whole ACC down.

with will johnson being back and all dukey, i agree unc might have a shot. It all depends on the frosh, but as we all know by now, just because they were mc d's all americans doesn't mean they'll be good at carol...oops.... i mean in college.

we gotta few. We may outnumber the state contingent. Of course jcb was a duke fan, and i really doubt we'll see him back.

dukey, it's not so much that duke will be really good. But, they'll be better than anybody else in the acc i think. Let's get through the first month of the season and then make some more predictions. If Raymond Felton is the real deal, then unc might just be good enough to win, but i doubt it. If duke's guys are even just solid, and not good, they'll at least have a formidable bench. Hopefully K will bring back his pressing defense (of wojo's senior year). Man, i loved that stuff.

as with every young team it will take some time for the unc palyer to gut to use to play in Collge basektaball ones they gut use to ACC i thinks unc couid be very good if not we couid be ok

We can only be better. There is no worse. Overall, Dook will still be top shit in the ACC. Mainly because they will have no competition. However, I don't think they will be handing out the same kind of ass kicking the past few years. Here's an early prediction.

1. Dook
2. Wake
3. UNC
4. State
5. Tech
6. Maryland
7. FSU
8. Virginia
9. The Clamp


I'm sensing a breakdown at UVA and Maryland this year. But Wake is good ball under finally a coach worth having.

I don't know I think the loss of Dunleavy will be HUGE to Duke... there were so many little things he did for that team that unless someone steps up and does them they will fall fast... Carolina will be improved a LOT... I think they'll have a shot at winning the ACC crown as of right now due to them BOTH being young I'm giving the slight nod to the Heels over the Devils because of I don't think Duke has one of those guts-no-glory guys like they've had in the past (ie Dunleavy, Battier)

That's a good point, but someone usually steps up for Duke. It will be interesting to see.

Note to Dukie: Heels suck, always will. You know you'll still be my bitch this season - not going to change. Our incoming class was better, and our residual talent was better.

Horvath & Sanders are like Salt & Pepper, Peanut Butter & Jelly, Huntley & Brinkley, Villeroy & Boch, Mutt & Jeff - going to go down in history as two of the best stiffs to ever don royal blue.

They scare the tar out of me when they're on the court...

Now Brain, you KNOW Duke had a better class. No question McCants & Felton are the deal - BUT - you squeHeel fans were funny on Shav. He was the next Larry Bird - UNTIL - he decided on Duke.
