Please be careful with posting info about high school players and there commitment to colleges unless you know for a FACT they have commited. You could actually affect someone who has not yet. I know of some verbals but will not post until I know for sure after the november 1st signing period they have done so. Not fussing or complaining just be careful. Thanks!

Unconfirmed reports say Tritons Allison Johnson has committed to play at Elon. A great player matching up with a great program. Go Phoenix!!!

I would also like to add to the list from Person High School that Senior Casey Raymer has committed to Pitt Community College in Greenville NC. And as mentioned above Junior Katie Tatum has verbaled to University of Central Florida in Orlando Florida.

2upthemiddle as you can see all played club ball and it is very important in the sport of volleyball. I had a conversation a couple of weeks ago with a college coach and she said the upcoming travel/club season is a big time for rising Juniors (2011 class) as the college coaches will be gathering informaton for recruits in the 2011 class. Also she said rising Juniors need to get there ducks in a row and be prepared for there Junior season in 2009 and to send out there information and do the college questionaires right before there Junior seasons.

For volleyball lovers, Wingate is hosting the NCAA SE Regionals Friday - Sunday.

Any volleyball player contemplating college ball should get out and watch the best in the region.

Games will be Friday 1200, 230, 500, and 730. Wingate will play the last game.

Saturday 5 and 730. championship is Sunday evening, dont remember time.
