South Rowan beats Glen easily

South Rowan is a very underrated team in the NPC. They beat Kernersville Glen handily in the first round of the 3A State Playoffs. The NPC is a very tough conference and this was proven with 5 teams winning their first playoff games ( N.Iredell. Lake Norman, South Rowan, Statesville and Mooresville) South has several key players that need to be noticed. Seniors Middle Hitter -Taylor May(2007 Rowan Co. Player of the Year ),Outside Hitter Molly Garrett, Setter Krista Haywood and Junior Middle and Outside Hitter Kayla Morrow. May and Morrow are hard hitters and all can play defense.Other defensive specialists are Tayler Smith and Taylor Lookabill. A lot of talented and athletic sophomores and freshman should keep the program strong.

Nice post CrazyMom. Our girls deserve some credit on a great year. Just think where we could be if our girls had started before their freshman year! Let's take'em 1 game at a time and go get some Ragin' Bulls Tuesday. Looks like they also have had a great year. Should be a good one! North Piedmont must be a tough conference. 3 out of 4 teams in the top of 3A West are NPIED. You guys are killing my bracket. Couldn't you give me a heads up before now. Congratulations to your girls.
