Now that the season is over, does anyone know when the all conference selections are announced?

Due to Northwestern 4A Conference bylaws the all conference, player of the year and coach of the year selections cannot be announced until every conference school's season has ended including the playoffs. So until WHS, Freedom, and East Burke get knocked out of the playoffs, they cannot be announced.

How many from the NW4A will be picked? How will they pick? Do they have so many from 1st place, 2nd, 3rd, so on or how is it picked?

Not sure how they pick, but I do know that the only people that should know at this point are the coaches and the athletic directors. We are still in the playoffs.

Everyone will find out soon enough.

most teams in the conference have already told their players, I was just wanting to know when they were going to announce it. I have heard who most are, but will not post it until it is fact. Not any real shocks though!

I haven't heard any of our players made it, usually they are told among their team.........( maybe none made it).......who knows!!!!!!! Guess we will find out soon enough!!!!!

I have my picks but I'll save them, Don't think POY and COY will be a suprise though........

Do they have a certain number of players on each team? do they pick based on best defence or what?

no, my understanding is they do not have to have a certain number from each team. In the years past that is how it worked. I know that last year they pretty much had everyone that was outstanding at the game on the team.

I do not know all of the young ladies names, but there are some common ones that we have all discussed here before. Like you said poy will not be a big shock from what I heard too.

I know some super talented girls made this and I agree with most of the picks that I have seen. I just thought there should have been more gals from a c reynolds. Not to take anything away from those who made it.

All-conference players from East Burke are Paige Moore and Erin Collins.

Two girls from Reynolds made it. Junior Whitney Brinkley and Senior Erin McKee. Also honorable mention was junior Karlee Taylor
