Cary YMCA hs a boys club. It may be the only one in the state but I am not sure. I know the coach there has been trying to get more interest in boys volleyball clubs as he is always at the clinics trying to promote the sport. Go to the Carolina Region website and click on links and you can go to there webpage there.

I know of some private schools that have men's volleyball and I think it would do well if played in public schools. It would be a good alternative sport to warm up for basketball. What do you guys think?

East Forsyth had a mens club volleyball team and since the head coach of the volleyball teams son was one of the members, at the end of the year the girls played the guys. The girls beat the tar out of the guys in the first game but it was all down hill for the girls after that with the guys rolling 2-1. I honestly think that men's volleyball in high school would be really exciting!! It would be something for the basketball and baseball guys to play that didn't want to play football or soccer. I wish they would have had high school volleyball for guys, I would have been the first one in line!!

We had a walleyball (volleyball played in a racketball court) league in california about 25 years ago, was really popular out there, but it was co-ed.
