Quest for Excellence December Tournament

The Quest for Excellence December Tournament is this weekend (Saturday December 27th & Sunday December 28th) at the Greensboro Sportsplex. It appears there will be age groups from 14 thru 18 playing. Here is the link to the pools and teams:

Some of the top 17 and 18 yearold teams in the state will be playing. Should be some good volleyball!

It was a good weekend... U18 was won by NC Elite U17- Peidmont Red U16 NC Elite Not sure on the U15 or U14..

A lot of Volleyball in two days...

I was there on Saturday to watch some of the games. I was impressed with several teams . I watched mostly the 16's, 17's, and 18's and saw some good volleyball. Teams from clubs NC Elite, IC Stars and Piedmont PVC all looked pretty good this early in the season.
Also noticed the tournament was being scouted by some college coaches.
One observation I had as I have been involved with the quest for several years was that the attendance was down. Especially down in the younger age groups. Maybe the economy is having an effect?

Seems they have not updated any of the winners Brackets. Someone needs to call Chuck and complain! lol...
What I have heard:
NC Elite won the 18's
Piedmont Red won the 17's
NC Elite won the 16's

Do not know about any others.
