There's a new fingerprint on that door, Putt.
Honestly, except for the countertops it's all superficial changes, but it makes a world of difference.
It's really nice. Huge improvement. You really need some color now, accessories and shit.

We're working on it...but Banger really likes minimalism.

Sorry Chuckles...I don't drink Vodka. It pisses me off. That's Banger's drink. My tequila and triple sec is in the fridge getting chilly.
I hate when people tell me how they'd do a project that I'm proud of, so I'll just tell myself to fuck off in advance, but I could definitely see a couple of bright red things in there to go with the black and white type of motif. It's not quite "high end" enough to pull off the comlpetely stark minimalist thing, so throw a little flair in it.

DUDE! I totally agree with you on that. And it's only a facelift, so there are flaws and shit, we know that...but it looks 10 times better than before.
Anyhoo...Banger says white, black and red is too 80-ish. To me, it sounds like an oven that won't work no matter how you wire it.
I have a georgeous 24" tall red vase that would be perfect in there and some matching red handtowels, but he says no....That's cool. I move out next week so I'll do it the way I want it then.
Werd. Red vases are cool any time.

My last living room....red vase with lights. :D
That's not minimalism, that's just a black and white kitchen. There's to much going on with the cabinets to be considered minimnalism. It's just an unfinished design project at the moment. If y'all were going to be true to the minimalist intent, the hardware had to go it looks too cluttered to be minimalmist, and too bare to be comfortable with the components used. White hardware would have worked much better if the american style doors and drawers had to be used. He needs a few cans of black epoxy enamel to do a number on the washer, and a black fridge.

Vor....due to the party that's coming up tonight, the kitchen is a bit untidy and cluttered. Without all that stuff in there, it would be a little more clean. I agree about the hinges and knobs. They should go too, but they are great for helping to tie the blackness together.
Oh....the fridge....should be painted soon. Banger's brother-in-law owns a body shop and is gonna use auto paint on it. The washer will be inclosed in a separate unit around Christmas time.
It is bitch while you're doing the work! DH and I are remodeling one of our rooms downstairs. Right now, the flooring is ripped up and it is a mess. We're getting it ready for DH to use as a studio/office.
Oh and the dear man bought me a grandfather clock! Just thought I would throw that in.
