Kazaa works really well for me. They just added some dumb features such as shopping and Bonzi Buddy stuff but other than that it still works the same.

Kaaza has too much spyware and you can't remove it.

Well my Norton Internet Security 2002 takes care of that. Doesn't cause me any problems as of yet.... (knock on wood)

I have been getting messages when I bootup that my version of Morpheous is too old to bootup and to go to musiccity.com to download the new version. I go there and see Morpheous New Viewer (or something like that) download it and it looks different but still will not connect? Any ideas?:confused:

make sure when you're startin it you select the one called morpheusp it leaves the original Morpheus on your computer too... and its EASy to make the mistake and load the old one...

The new morpheus seems to run on a different network than the old one. It's using the gnutella network (bearshare, limewirse, etc.). As a result, it's basically the same as limewire -- only I haven't been able to get a download to actually work.

Hopefully the name will get enough people to connect, as that was always the problem with gnutella (not enough folks).

The old morpheus was much better -- multiple downloads to the same file as just great. This version isn't nearly as good. Kazaa, eh? Maybe I'll give that a go. Anybody know if the spyware is defeated by ZoneAlarm?

I've gotten some downloads on the new Morpheus, but nothing like the old one. Can someone tell me what it means when a software program is listed followed by 'working crack.zip'? Is that the actual program or something else?

The crack part means someone has figured out how to run the program with have the actual CD or they have fixed it where you don't need a registration code.
