anyone ever have pain coming from their spleen? If so, what causes it?

real spleen pain. it's straight down from the left armpit where the rib cage ends, right?

When I wrestled in high school, my spleen got enlarged due to blood poisoning 'caused by trying reduce too much weight, If I remember it's more towards the solerplexis and down a little to the left. Not painful really.

It's only painfull when I stretch, lay on that side, or push on it...how do you get it to get back to normal size?

The spleen is situated between the stomach and diaphragm in the left region of your body--How long have you been hurting and did you injure yourself-maybe a fall or something?? Spleen injuries usually cause nausea and depending on the severity of your pain it would proabably be a good idea to get it checked out by a doctor-soon--This isn't something to wait around on-your spleen actually filters your blood helping you to fight off infection--just thought I would let you know--
