Two things:
1) Hugh retired from the Bank a couple of years ago. Not that he does not still wield some clout there though.
2) Don't think this will set too well with the Green & Blue Bank, who is contributing to the $100 million loan.

1) Hugh will make it happen :) . . .
2) Yeah, Wachovia contributed to the fund, but they already have an arena name (FU Center in Philly) . . . No need really to have 2 arena with their name on it, unless they are stupid like American Airlines (one in Miami, one in Dallas) . . . . BoA passed on putting their name on Ericcsion Stadium years ago, but I think they won't pass up this opportunity this time with the new arena . . .

Yeah, but . . . Ericsson's stadium naming rights have been on the market now for a couple of months. Have not heard of a single whisper / rumor of anyone interested in buying it. Seems to me like BoA would make a play for Ericsson before the new Arena.

BoA I would think would rather be mention on the tv/radio 41+ times a year with an NBA arena vs. 8 games for the NFL, unless they could buy the rights for a reasonable price. They aren't going to pay stupid money for the rights like FEDEX did for the Redskins new stadium . . .
