Is in the house at the Tabernackle in Atlanta, this coming Thurday.
A most unlikely pairing of the Weir lead Ratdog and DL Logic, a New York based turntable artist who has paired with other jambands, though younger and seemingly more affable bands such as MMW, Lake Trout, and and of course the Project.
But this dead inspired pair of the solo logic performing with Ratdog, well, it's most intriuging. His eccletic mix of funk, jazz and hip hop, and use of the turntable in as an improvisational tool in a jamband environment is pushing the entire jamband scene in a forward thinking, technologically advainced, contemporary style, and could revitalize the concert scene. By teaming with Dead offshoot Ratdog, Logic is moving from the side stream of the movement to the genere's front, and possibly it's future.
Logic will also be spinning with Ratdog this Wednesday at Ziggy's
Project Logic will also be a part of this April's Jazzfest in Atlanta.
