FYI-I got home safely everybody, just so you know :) . . I'm going to make this short and to the point, because my black ass is tired and I'm going right to bed right after I type this message. Put all of your Post-TBR.com 3/9 Get Together notes in this thread, OK :) ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? I'll check this out sometime tomorrow . . . .
It was nice meeting all the new folks tonight (those that I didn't meet last time at Jillian's back in October . . glad to put a few more faces with the ID's!!!!!!). It was especially nice to meet Kaika69 in person . . . Maybe next time we can all come down to the ATL and hang out in your neck of the woods . . . perhaps we'll bump into Ms. Veronica Vincent this time !!!!!!!!!!!
Props to the UConn Huskies for winning the BIG EAST title in Double OT tonight !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Props to DIXIE's TAVERN . . . The place is an awesome spot on a Sat. night . . . It was fun crashing the bachorlette party tonight (as well as they stopping by our group a couple of times during the night, he he :) !!!!!).
To BIG MARK: Reading your post now . . . believe it or not, there was a guy who walked in 20-30 mins. before we left who fit your description . . . we swore it was you :D :D !!!!! I hope your feeling better aftger your accident :( . . .
To Veronica Vincent: Too bad you didn't come up I-85 and visited us tonight . . . you missed a lot of interesting storylines tonight :D :D !!!!!!!!!!! Our guest from the ATL, Kaika69, is pretty familar with the club you mentioned in your 2nd post . . A great group of guys & gals (I haven't forgotten about you Celyn . . . It was nice meeting you too !!!!!!!) hung out tonight at DIXIE's TAVERN, LIQUID LOUNGE, and LEATHER & LACE 2-Night . . . . Hopefully you can come up for the 2nd TBR.com Get Together, which I'm sure will be on the agenda sometime soon . . . .
To Kaika69: Though we didn't get too spend a whole lot of 1-on-1 time with each other, it was great meeting you !!!!!! Perhaps at the next TBR.com Party, you can convince a few friends of yours to come along with you !!!!!!!!!!!!!
To LarryD: Perhaps these TBR.com get togethers should be an every other month affair . . . I'm sure most of us couldn't do this every single month . . . . The next get together should be in mid-late April (or early May) so we can all build up our cash flow again !!!!!!!!

After we left Dixie's last night. Sly, Putt and Celyn drove together and Windylu and myself followed them. We get out of the car and start to walk to the Liquid Lounge. Only bad part of the evening.... right as we leave Dixie's the played Hell by the Squirrel Nut Zippers.... I didn't get to hear all of it. I listened to it in the car but would have been better in the bar.

You know, after all this, there are still only a couple people I know REAL names for. I mean, if I happen to run into one of you on the street, should I just put my head down and keep walking? Or do I address you as MeatPile, Wassa, or ChuckRichey?
I've known Fred for 3+ years and I've been calling him Whizzer for the longest time. Now, my friends are very curious as to who this Fred person is I talk about all the time. Time to have my roots done!
I started introducing myself with my first name and they didn't know who the fuck. I think Meat knows my name from when I used to publish, and Larry knows it, but I think that's it.
I don't think Chuck will mind being called Chuck.

My wife don't speak to me much, mainly cause we have done said most shit at one time or the other. But, Meatile drops by Saturday and tells her to tell me that it is "meatpile" downstairs.
Meat comes up to the Putt tech room and the wife drops in to speak. Had one of those smiles on her face and when he leaves she asked me why they call him meatpile. I told her cause the word on the street is that the guy is hung like John Holmes.
She looked at me and said " No wonder he drives a BMW":)
Well I definitely had a blast last night. Took me forever to get down from Greensboro and decided to go straight to Dixies for a cold beer - figured Putt's place would have already cleared out - sorry to make you guys wait for me.
Dixie's was a great. I couldn't believe how many people showed up. Great turnout. Glad to meet celyn, gutter, twiggy, barracuda, mailman and windylu, meatpile and spouse, builder, fred and turbo ( glad to hear turbo flunked the gaydar test - since we slept in the same room last night ).
Who else was there? Oh yeah queen city and Cpt Morgan and the incredible kakia - NICE belly button! (and everything else attached to it :D ) and of course the guys I had already met - Surfer, Putt, The Man, SDS, sly and chuckrichey. Don't think I left anybody out.
Sorry to hear about Big Mark's accident. and the only other one I thought might show was Brain - what happened.
surfer, me and David went to Uptown and wondered where all the strippers were ???? - should just stayed with the crowd.
Had a ball at Putt's Palace - sorry I snuck out this morning Putt - but who know how it can be - at least I didn't have to gnaw any bodys arm off to escape.:D
I was gonna wake you up and say sayanora but there was a strange noise coming from your bed - I thought it was Sophie but then she looked at me and I realized the strange sounds were coming from you - sophie and "the biter" ( damn can't remember her name ) both looked at me like "if you touch putt we will have your balls for an appetizer" so I just waved on my way out.
Well damn I ain't had that much fun in over a week so we better do it again.

I was definitely a bit nervous before last night. But 3 beers at the Putt Palace certainly calmed those down before we rolled up into Dixie's. mVm saw me when I walked in so I looked cool like I already knew someone there and went straight into a conversation. I met Wossa and gave him shit for not showing up to the P Palace first before Dixie's. Fred and Builder were both suprises for me. Fred was much more manly looking than any of his posts have ever indicated. He comes across as a fruity flaming queer in his posts, but is actually a manly dude. Builder if it wasn't for the leather hanging out of your ass, I would never have guessed you were a queer. Celyn, glad you showed up, but you abrubt departure scared some of us. Mr. Moderator Gutter seemed like a cool dude, but I didn't get to talk to he and Twiggy that much. But his roommate is way cool. She got a call at 1:00 a.m. to come pick him up at the strip club and I'll be damned if she didn't do it. I think I'd keep her for a roommate Gutter. Barracuda is Canadian, but he said I could make fun of him for being Canadian, so he's alright in my book. He's pretty good on the softball field for a Canadian too. Silver was exactly what I expected. A tall, dirty old man who always had a grin on his face. You could tell he was thinking of nekkid women at least 75 percent of the evening. Sorry I couldn't join ya'll at the Cabaret. We'll hit up the Paper Doll next time. Always a good time there. SDS was hilarious. I think he was the only one other than me who had a membership card for the strip club. Plus, he had the most balls next to Coach P. talking to random women. Mailman and Windylu were extremely cool, and they were extra cool for making the trip all the way down from Goldsboro. That's a fair piece from here. Cap'n Morgan was as funny in person as he is here on the board. Preciate you coming out to softball practice before heading back up to Salisbury. Turbo isn't gay, and is a nice guy, but really should stop cheating on his wife. Meatpile is a hell of a nice laid back guy, and ditto for his charming wife who's name I have forgotten. Kakia, you are the sweetest girl this side of the Mississippi no matter how bad a girl you are. If I forgot someone, please forgive me.
Edit: forgot about Chuck. That was real classy what you did last night with the waitress and the tip thing. I think she felt a lot better after that. She should have at least given you a reach around for it though.

The guys I went with aren't part of this board, so wanted to leave right away. I wish I'd have just let them go as I really didn't get to meet everyone or try on Putt's wigs. However, we did end up hanging out with the "suck for a buck" bachelorette party on their party bus and hopping from Dixies to Bar, Have A Nice Day, Uptown Cabaret, then back to Dixies. A bunch of drunk Clemson sorority sisters flashing on the bar at Bar and I didn't have a camera. Where's Larry when you need him?

i really didnt want anything to happen between those two (on their first night anyway) so i kept calling over there to bug them and make sure nothing got too heated without the phone ringing.
