Independence at Central Cabarrus Friday night will be the game of the week on 1410 WEGO-AM in Concord. The pregame will begin at 5:45 p.m. and both girls and boys games will be broadcast.

WEGO-AM 1410 in Concord will broadcast two sets of high school basketball this week. Tuesday it will be Monroe at Mt. Pleasant with pregame to start at 6:15 p.m. Friday night it will be Lake Norman at Northwest Cabarrus with pregame to start at 5:45 p.m. Both broadcasts will include varsity girls and boys games.

Austin, WEGO will broadcast American Legion baseball again this year. Likely it will be an 8 to 10 game package, depending on schedules. WEGO carries Atlanta Braves baseball, so the American Legion games come on off nights or days when the Braves play during the day. Unfortunately WEGO will not be able to broadcast high school baseball. We appreciate your interest.
