ok ... here's the beginning thread for basketball scores this week. post scores, records, etc. as games are played this week. if this works ok here, maybe we can use this for the baseball season as well.

sorry, don't know the final score, but it was a close game. Shawn Baker played great in a losing cause.

BOYS - garinger keeps pace w/ south meck by beating butler on a last second shot for a 61-60 win. garinger 13-2, 10-1

Friday Feb.7

South Meck beats East Meck

BOYS: Sorry, don't know the final score, but it was a close game. East Meck went into a tight zone and South Meck went into a Carolina four-corner offense and probably held the basketball about 4 minutes at the end of the game with no challenge by the East Meck defense! With about 2 minutes to go, East Meck's defense finally had to come out of the zone to attack South's offense but there was not enough time left for East to come back at that point! Tough way for South to win a game but every game counts at this point in the season!
