There are a lot worse jobs around than Central Cabarrus...who would want South Davidson or Garinger or Chatham Central for example?

Central Cabarrus has had past FB success; even before the Natrone Means era. They were always strong in the old split Rocky River 2A/3A back in the 70's. And how many teams have had any consistent success against Kannapolis??

I really think the right person could put a good team on the field there. He just has to be the type who can get the kids out, keep them out, and instill a good work ethic in them. It won't happen overnight, but it can be done.

Another good thing on the horizon....Central will likely drop back to 3A in the next realignment. I understood that in the last realignment, the students they lost to Robinson when it opened were not taken into consideration. They would likely end up as the eighth team in the South Piedmont 3A, and they stand a lot better chance of competing there than in Indepen...oops, I mean the MECA-8 4A.
