I keep seeing that as a program running when I press ctrl-alt-del
What is it ? When I try to find it----I get a screen that says--this progam is not meant for browsing.
I am running Windows 98 SE on a cable modem but I still have AOL which I assume hooks up by cable also.

it has to do with your modem dialing out. but you've got a cable box, so it shouldn't screw anything up. you could just cntrl-alt-delete and kill it out, i guess. have you tried that? does it mess anything up?
does it screw anything up or did you just notice it there one day?

If you don't need your modem you can go to :
Start>Run> Type in "msconfig"> go to startup tab and disable it from starting when you turn your machine on
