Congrats to the McDowell players who really played hard and executed very well against the tall front line of N. Meck. I thought the difference in this game was coaching. The N. Meck coach just seemed like his mind was somewhere else. He appeared to be very nonchalant on the sidelines and in the huddles. Maybe that is his style, but that is also how the team played.

For those fans at McDowell who hate Lloyd Church (and there are quite a few) we could be much worse off (a.k.a North Meck's coach)

The North Meck coach took a 6'8" and 6'6" post players and made them a non-factor against a McDowell frontcourt which is 6'4" and 6'0". North Meck used Matt Salley at the high post, in which he always received the ball around the foul line and as high as the 3 point line. The whole night, Saley would jumpstep into the lane and kick out for a perimeter shot.

How stupid can one man's coaching philosophy be?

Was the game fairly close at halftime? Courious to see how McDowell played against a frontline of 6'9" and 6'11"?
