Lady Cavs defeated Burns today 9-3. Top hitters were Samantha Rich, Cagney Davis, Jessica Penson, and Kyla Brooks. We now have another win under our belt and we face RS Central tomorrow.

East lost to RS today......10-1. Terrible game for us too many errors and only a few hits. Credit goes to RS, Gilbert pitched a great game and the team had maybe 1 error and hit the ball very well.

ER defeated Chase today 3-2. We had 4 errors in the first inning that allowed two runs to score. Cagney Davis had a triple, Nichole Guffey had a double, Samantha Rich had 2 singles, and Heather Burns had the game winning hit in the bottom of the 7th.

I was reading your post on non-conference schedules. We can't help who we have to play in conference games, even though Ashe county is very good this year, just ask AC. And yes we do love to play great comp. when the opportunity arises. Here is our non-conference schedule:Hopewell #1 4A, N. Davidson #3 4A, West Forsyth #10 4A, West Rowan #7 3A, South View #5 4A, Laney (possible) #9 4A, N. Brunswick #1 1A, E. Surry #4 1A, Starmount (2X)#6 1A. We have the philosphy, lose a few during the regular season because great competition makes a team championship ready.

That is correct CF BALL!!! We now are 13-1, we defeated Bunker-Hill today 17-3. No stats necessary. We play Shelby at home on thursday. Next week we have 3 games.

I am very proud of these girls, some of them have not lost a game in four years (2 middle school). They are taking it one game at a time though, and hoping to make it far into the playoffs!!!

ER was supposed to play Shelby yesterday, but Shelby forfeited because they did not have enough players. We are now 14-1 overall and undefeated in the conference. We play at Bandys on April 29th at Bandys.

ER defeated Bandys today 9-1. The bats were hot today. We had a lot of great hits, and our defense was awesome. Tomorrow we play Newton-Conover at Newton-Conover. Great game ladies.

ER defeated Newton-Conover today 10-3. Cagney Davis had 9 strikeouts and hit an in the park homerun. Samantha Rich had 4 singles. Heather Burns had a triple, 2 singles, and drove in 5 runs. Great game ladies! We play Chase tomorrow at Chase. We are now 10-0 in conference and 16-1 overall.

ER defeated Chase 8-1 totake 1st in the conference tournament.
It was 8-0 until 7th when we had a tag out at home to end the game and droped the ball. Cagney Davis was winning pitcher and also leading hitter for the game with 2 out of the park homeruns.
Samantha Rich hit one to the fence for a double, Deedra Campbell, Alex Park, Cristy Hardin, and Heather Burns also had hits. Congrats girls on an excellent game, tournament, and regular season. First round of state playoffs is next Friday at ER.
