There were a lot of questions as to how good WR would be this year, losing Donte and Horatio. This team has really stepped it up and is just as talented as last year’s team. I personally thought that the 2002 WR team was the best defensive team that I had ever seen. That was until the 2003 WR team started to gel and become a team. They are by far a better defensive team than last years. If you were at the Trinity game, you know what I mean. Josh King probably only touched the ball about 20% of his average.

The teams at East Burke have not seen a defensive team of this caliber. There will be some heads turned. WR is probably a 10 to 1 favorite to repeat as the 3A state champion.

Good luck to WR tonight. KM will be amazed at the talent level of this team.
