Richmond SR needs a easy game.Can you say

CREST.I wonder why SHELBY CREST wont play us?? We have offered to come their jr high grade playing field to play and they decline?? We even offered them a 60/40 split at the gate.They wont do it.Why Crest WHY.Yes you have NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER beaten the Raiders.Yes we have not lost to woeful Anson in decades but that is no reason to run Crest.Quit hiding behind your 3A classification and play us Crest.:mad:

I believe the spilt was 60/40 your way, not ours. Your coach also wanted us to play the first game in the series there which would have put Crest on the road for the first 4 games I believe. Would love to see you guys again, we had some classics. Crest has a hard enough getting ten games with teams backing out on them, but you have to do what is right for your players also. Maybe they can work it out one day.

Honestly guys I dont have a dog in this fight however, if im not mistaken Richmond's last championship's were in 97' and 98' while Crest has not won a championship since 96' so if Richmond's "glory is in their past" then what does that say for Crest's great program? Also if you take Crest's record from their championship in 96' and compare it to Richmond's in that same time span there once again is no argument Crest is 78-14-1 since then while Richmond is an incredible 91-7. I have great amounts of respect for these two teams as they are among the top in NC every year but if you are going to make claims like that then at least make sure you dont put your own team down at the same time. ;)

Does that win total include 96 or no? because from the 96-02 seasons Crest won 90 games, and from 93 Crest has won 116 and lost 18.

From my understanding since 1996 including that year Crest's records have been:

96: 14-0-1
97: 11-3
98: 6-6
99: 10-2
00: 11-1
01: 14-1
02: 12-1

Which should equal to 78 wins 14 loses and 1 tie.

My only point is for someone to say one teams glory is in their past when they have more recent championships and wins than your own team makes you look silly. Both of these teams are regularly great but before you go trying to put one or the other down make sure your not degrading your own. That should be a good message for all to follow including the ones who act like an ass.

The reason both of these teams fans go at it is because there is a deal of respect between each other. If all these Crest fans supported a team like Lumberton then the Richmond fans wouldn't care what they thought. Since Crest is a great team and has given Richmond some great games they feel the need to try and rile up the Crest people. You don't see Crest fans on here calling out Kings Mountain do you?

I live in Richmond County. I've been to lots of games. But, the one that really stands out was when we played Crest in a triple overtime game in the 99 Playoffs here at Raider Stadium. I wish Crest were still in the 4A division so that it would be another possible playoff meeting, or I wish we could at least have Crest on our schedule. I know it would be another classic game.

Crest asked to go to 3A thinking they would dominate it the way Richmond had and Indy has for the past 3 years.After getting their ***** kicked again maybe they will drop to 2A .I heard Crest is scared of W-S Carver so look for them to run to 2A then 1A and then they will find their true home in Pop Warner football :D

I don't care if you give each other a hard time, but we can't have the swearing that was going on before. Some very young kids as well as coaches are checking in. Some big plans may in store for the prep section of the board and the football section will not be the one that get's the bad name. Check out any highschool board, and I know you have, you will see that those rules apply to about all of them. I want this board to built around info. Like they are doing on the baseball board. I will not let this board turn into the Charlotte board where it was just trash and nonsense. Anyway...GO CHARGERS!:)

Thanks for asking Wossa. We just celebrated her 1st birthday with a big bash that included many Charger faithful.:D She see's no need yet in walking. She'll get behind something and push it around, but the rest is just crawling at full speed.
