Looks like you guys will get some more of my money this weekend -- at least I can see two games for the price I paid last time for one inning -- or do you guys kick everybody out after the jv game and collect again for the varsity game?

Great idea DogerBlues! Empty out the baseball stadium at the end of each South Meck jv game and collect tickets again for the South Meck varsity games...or raise the ticket price from $5.00 for a singe game to $7.00 for a double-header! Thanks for that revelation, DogerBlues...the "Raise the Southdome" project will soon be completed at this pace!

Northwest Cabarrus..rained out 3-18 and 3-19..Hopefully can get the game in Friday against A.L.Brown..

Again,,, rain, rain, rain. This game was postponed and no date was given for it to be made up.

And AustinPowers, I just hope that we can play you guys on Friday 3/21, because the weatherman is calling for rain nonstop until Friday. I don't see how the fields will be dry enough to play any at all this week,,,,,,,,,,, maybe Saturday only.

North Meck & West Meck stupidly tried to get this one in.... Played 1/2 inning, then went into a 30 min rain delay. 2 1/2 innings later, the field was too wet and it was raining too hard.

To be completed as a suspended game starting the 4th inning with West Meck up 1-0. Unknown game date/time

We won't be able to play McDowell tomorrow 3/20, and I doubt if we'll get in Friday's game either, at North Gaston.

3/20 South Meck vs. Independence varsity and jv games postponed today with a date and site yet to be determined.

If the 3/18 rescheduled South Meck vs. Butler game can not be played due to a wet field on Saturday, 3/22 @ South Meck, the game will be rescheduled to Monday, 3/24, @ Butler.

Guys... these re-schedules are getting out of hand ...

There is no way I can keep the schedule master current ... With non-conf games dropped on a dime to try and squeeze in a conf matchup, next weeks schedule will be published sunday (as usual) but it's going to be a joke. Don't trust it, call first, ask a player ... anything...

Once we get some sunshine consistently, things will settle down.

Keep posting them though... people are just going to have to scan the reschedule thread for changes in game times/dates.

Also, if the 3/18 Waddell vs. Olympic game @ Olympic that has been rescheduled for Saturday, 3/22, @ 1:00 pm can not still be played due to a wet field, the Waddell vs. Olympic game will be rescheduled again for Monday, 3/24 @ Olympic.

Look on the bright side...tomorrow's the first day of Spring, so we won't have anymore "cold" weather. And, in 16 days, daylight savings time kicks in, so we can put on our shorts and watch baseball all day. Inside of course, because it'll still be raining like h***!

Cry me a river. This is the year that the whole state of NC learns what it is like to play spring baseball in the mountains... This is business as usual for us, just a little more rain driving us inside instead of artic temps.

As reported earlier, and I want to make it completely clear... Varsity South Meck vs. Waddell game on 3/21 NOT postponed as yet!

There are TWO changes in the MP/Providence game:

First, both JV and varsity games are being re-scheduled to Saturday...JV at 1:00...varsity at 3:30.

Second, they're MOVING to Myers Park, whose field drains better. This means that the second game between them this season will be played at Providence.

At this point, Alexander Central is traveling to AC Reynolds today (Friday) to play, and Alexander will host McDowell tomorrow (Saturday..Reynolds has an infield cover,and Alexander's field drains well..
