no, i can pick the gays out.
2. Are ya'll afraid we are getting laid more than you are?
no
3. Do ya'll envy our freedom sometimes?
what freedom?
4. "Out" homos -vs- closet cases. Do you have more respect for one than the other or does it matter?
doesn't matter...we can tell who is gay anyways
5. Honestly, have you not at least wondered what it would be like to play for the other team just once?
no
6. Do you tend to think that all gay men have aids or are hiv positive?
there was a time when the disease hit gays harder than other groups...but thanks to drug use anyone can have it.
7. Do you think you are immune to hiv?
no
8. Do you think domestic partners of the same sex in long term relationships deserve a legal "partnership" (not necessarly marriage)?
whatever turns your crank
9. Don't you ever get bored with having no sense of style and flair?
so being gay gives one style and flair?
10. Do you get tired of being "tied down." (Not that kinda "tied down" Celyn, get your mind out of the trash can! )
no
1. I don't stare, but yes.
2. Definitely not.
3. No. I was single and getting laid all the time by different people once, but it got boring and lonely.
4. Out homos are MUCH cooler than closeted, though I can sympathize with how difficult it must be for some to come out. You're not living if you can't admit who you are.
5. I've had gay dreams before, but as hard as I try to imagine it, I just can't find any attraction to males or their bodies. If I had to spend my life in prison with no possibility of parole, I'd probably cave and make the switch.
6. No, but I have a hard time sympathizing with people who have a disease that they could have avoided when there are children out there with cancer. Too much money goes to AIDS research compared to other diseases. Don't get me wrong, I have deep sympathy for any human in pain, but I can't get with AIDS research politics.
7. No, but at this point the odds of me getting it are pretty low.
8. YES. Not allowing gays to receive the financial benefits of a legal partnership is outright discrimination.
9. Yes, but I try in my own little ways. I also hate that alot of gay people with no taste assume that their sexual preference means that they do.
10. I'd like to have 1 weekend a month of being single, but no more. Since that's not possible, I much prefer the symbiosis, fun, and self discovery of marriage.
1. Do ya'll sit in stare at couples of the same sex and wonder if they are gay or just friends or business partners?
Yes
2. Are ya'll afraid we are getting laid more than you are?
No
3. Do ya'll envy our freedom sometimes?
No. Freedom is a state of mind.
4. "Out" homos -vs- closet cases. Do you have more respect for one than the other or does it matter?
"Out". Atleast they have the balls to come out. No pun intended.
5. Honestly, have you not at least wondered what it would be like to play for the other team just once?
I'm a lesbian. Does that count?
6. Do you tend to think that all gay men have aids or are hiv positive?
What kind of lame ass question is that?
7. Do you think you are immune to hiv?
See the above answer.
8. Do you think domestic partners of the same sex in long term relationships deserve a legal "partnership" (not necessarly marriage)?
Yes.
9. Don't you ever get bored with having no sense of style and flair?
Just because you're a queen doesn't mean everyone has to dress and act like one.
10. Do you get tired of being "tied down." (Not that kinda "tied down" Celyn, get your mind out of the trash can! )
I'm not "tied" down at this moment. Thank God.
1. Only if it's two women.
2. No. Not really. I'm a bit paranoid about catching things.
3. Occasionally, but not so much that I would kick her out for it. She may not feel the same though. I haven't asked lately.
4. Could care less. I can't recognize someone in the closet anyway. I'm pretty sure that straight West Virginians have no gaydar. Or we inbred the gene out of us a long time ago.
5. No. To be honest I get a lot of gas. I spend so much time worryin' about making room to breathe up there to begin with that I just don't see how it could happen.
6. Absolutely not. I think too many straight people are pretty stupid for not realizing it can happen to them too.
7. See 2 and 6.
8. Yes, but not marriage. I'm pretty sure I am covered by something like that now in MD anyway (common law), so why would I bitch about anyone else? I've told her that anytime she wants to leave - she's welcome to take half of my debt with her. No bites so far.
9. No. Never. I'm 33 years old, white, and an ex-hillbilly from WV. We don't have "style" or "flair", nor do we care about such things.
10. See 3.

1. Yes--I catch myself doing that a lot.
2. At my age, I only hope that everyone can get laid as much as I did. (60s and 70s were very loose)
3. I don't envy anyone that has chosen or was born in to a gay lifestyle. I don't think it would be a easy life.
4. If being closet has its advantage for them then I could care less. Such as business, family, society in general.
5. Yes and a lot more than once.
6. AIDS--One of my pet peeves about homosexuality. Everybody knows that over 90% of all aids is spread through blood transfer encounters.(sex, firing up etc.) the odds of non drug using heterosexuals acquiring HIV is very low. Male gay encounters on the whole seem to be more intense and hence the transfer of blood. Couple in the invincible young age and the fact that one night stands usually originate from a bar where the alcohol is flowing freely and it makes for a bad mistake. If you don't want lung cancer then don't smoke. There is a chance you may get it anyway but the odds are very low. AIDs can virtually be wiped out if people in high risk categories would use prevention. It's simple to prevent. There are exceptions but prevention is still the best cure for AIDs.
7. Certainly not, but I don't go around playing Russian Roulette with my life.
8. Yes
9. Plenty of straight people have style and flair. Some just don't flaunt it. Plenty of gay people have none at all. They just have a preconceived notion that they do.
10. Yes

3. Do ya'll envy our freedom sometimes? Opposite
4. "Out" homos -vs- closet cases. Do you have more respect for one than the other or does it matter? I respect out more, but don't really matter. Respect both.
5. Honestly, have you not at least wondered what it would be like to play for the other team just once? Of course.
6. Do you tend to think that all gay men have aids or are hiv positive? nope.
7. Do you think you are immune to hiv? nope
8. Do you think domestic partners of the same sex in long term relationships deserve a legal "partnership" (not necessarly marriage)? Sure, but being a libertarian, I wouldn't expect any benefits to such a union, hetero or homo.
9. Don't you ever get bored with having no sense of style and flair? You mean like that belt?
10. Do you get tired of being "tied down." (Not that kinda "tied down" Celyn, get your mind out of the trash can! ) You mean married? Not really. Particularly after squeezing one off.
I really don't sit and think of any of these things. I'm not God nor have I ever claimed to be. Keeping that in mind, I don't think I can judge anyone on anything. I think we are exactly what we are and we go through exactly what we need to.
As far as your freedom is concerned, I'm glad for you. There was a time when I was running around, trying to find that "perfect man". I was longing for someone to come into my life and we would settle down into a warm loving marriage. Yeah, I even had the visions of picket fences. But all I was trying to do was to find someone to fulfill an emptiness inside of me. No one else could do it. Also, drinking Vodka alone every night didn't help. I had to learn to be a whole person before I could participate in a loving relationship.
Because of circumstances in my marriage (health issues), we don't run around the house every night trying all the positions and sex toys. I don't sit and fantasize about his penis all day long! LOL! No, it really is the little things that matter. Not roses, or diamonds but laughter, fun and companionship. It is that quiet that comes from inside ~ knowing that there is some kind of bond between you and this person that is stronger that anything life could toss your way. It is the knowledge that you have something that belongs to just the two of you...trust and intimacy.
Am I jealous? No. I think that you are a wonderful person and I admire you for living your life as you want. I have alot of respect for you.
If all this sounds mushy or silly to you, I'm sorry. It is just the state I am in at the moment. DH and I have faced quite alot of things lately. Some that I have posted here but most of them I have not posted about. And you know, we have come through them beautifully. We've both bitched about things, we've both hurt over things but through it all we've been there together.
I love ya to death Fred. :) I hope in some small way I've answered at least one or two of your questions.
1. Do ya'll sit in stare at couples of the same sex and wonder if they are gay or just friends or business partners?
yes -- when there's too much touching going on
2. Are ya'll afraid we are getting laid more than you are?
not afraid. i'm fairly confident because i know my own statistics. :) actually, most of my gay friends/family members are in relationships -- which are just like breeder relationships. for every fred, there's a kakia. for every builder, there's a celyn.
3. Do ya'll envy our freedom sometimes?
yes, the same way i envy kakia's though. however, i made my choice to be married/committed. doesnt mean i can't still think about what it would be like though. builder doesnt have the same freedom as fred. it's all mental.
4. "Out" homos -vs- closet cases. Do you have more respect for one than the other or does it matter?
i think it's healthy for any person to live honestly. however, we all are as honest as we can manage.
5. Honestly, have you not at least wondered what it would be like to play for the other team just once?
of course.
6. Do you tend to think that all gay men have aids or are hiv positive?
no.
7. Do you think you are immune to hiv?
no.
8. Do you think domestic partners of the same sex in long term relationships deserve a legal "partnership" (not necessarly marriage)?
yes.
9. Don't you ever get bored with having no sense of style and flair?
yes. well, no. well, i wish i could get away with wearing what i really want to wear. i wear crazy stuff to bed -- sleeping with my workout gloves on, bandanas around my face and a ski mask. i like to experiment with the efect of external stimuli on my dreams.
10. Do you get tired of being "tied down." (Not that kinda "tied down" Celyn, get your mind out of the trash can!)
i don't get tired of it. you just have to figure out what you can get away with and still live with. some would say that looking at pron online is cheating. some would say staring at a hot neighbor at the pool is cheating. just play within the boundaries or else you'll get kicked out of the league.

1. Do ya'll sit in stare at couples of the same sex and wonder if they are gay or just friends or business partners? Nope just when the gaydar goes off
2. Are ya'll afraid we are getting laid more than you are? Nope as a matter of fact until you turn 50 I'm sure you'll get laid loads more time than I ever will just doesn't bother me.
3. Do ya'll envy our freedom sometimes? Nope having lived as long as I have I know there is nothing more miserable than old gays
4. "Out" homos -vs- closet cases. Do you have more respect for one than the other or does it matter? Nope no preference, but do have tons of respect for one who as assumed a conventional role in society and raised a hetrosexual family and dealt with their sexuality. Also those who forego carnal relations and commit to the priesthood.
5. Honestly, have you not at least wondered what it would be like to play for the other team just once? Nope not even a little
6. Do you tend to think that all gay men have aids or are hiv positive? Nope but they sure are prone to contracting hiv eventually
7. Do you think you are immune to hiv? Nope just live my life in a manner that overwhelmingly reduces my chances of infection.
8. Do you think domestic partners of the same sex in long term relationships deserve a legal "partnership" (not necessarly marriage)? Not unless the intent to raise children.
9. Don't you ever get bored with having no sense of style and flair? Nope I have plenty of sense of style and flair it's just not what I live for
10. Do you get tired of being "tied down." (Not that kinda "tied down" Celyn, get your mind out of the trash can! ) Not tired of it because I would certainly marry again, but frustrated by some of the decisions that the other half chooses to make.
1. Do ya'll sit in stare at couples of the same sex and wonder if they are gay or just friends or business partners?
I have.
2. Are ya'll afraid we are getting laid more than you are?
No. Hearing you and builder talk, and having actually known some gay people, I think the opposite is actually true.
3. Do ya'll envy our freedom sometimes?
Freedom's just another word for nothin left to lose.
4. "Out" homos -vs- closet cases. Do you have more respect for one than the other or does it matter?
I understand why the closeted are. I think the strongest and happiest are those who don't attempt to hide, but also don't let it define them.
5. Honestly, have you not at least wondered what it would be like to play for the other team just once?
I've personally never doubted. I've just never had a reaction like that to a man. I'm not disgusted, or angry, just unmoved.
On an aside, I'll admit that when some friends and I went to a gay bar, wife in tow, I got hit on. I took it as a compliment.
6. Do you tend to think that all gay men have aids or are hiv positive?
No
7. Do you think you are immune to hiv?
No. And I can't begrudge the research money going in. The fact is, scientests want the money because of the technical challanges, the possibilities of increasing our knowledge on DNA, and the fact is they can use this as a cash cow to achieve those goals. There is no money in pure research anymore. And the technology gained with Aids research can be applied to other diseases, both viral and genetic, like cancer.
8. Do you think domestic partners of the same sex in long term relationships deserve a legal "partnership" (not necessarly marriage)?
Sure. The tax system sucks for single folks.
9. Don't you ever get bored with having no sense of style and flair?
I'm a neo-hippie, you wear ugly belt buckles. I have more sense of flair than you.
10. Do you get tired of being "tied down."
No. I'm much happier now married than when I was single.

1. Do ya'll sit in stare at couples of the same sex and wonder if they are gay or just friends or business partners?
Yes. If I'm bored. ALso depends on WHERE I am. 2 guys eating at Pewter Rose? Yeah, I think they are gay.
2. Are ya'll afraid we are getting laid more than you are?
No.
3. Do ya'll envy our freedom sometimes?
No.
4. "Out" homos -vs- closet cases. Do you have more respect for one than the other or does it matter?
More respect for "outed." Honestly don't think about it.
5. Honestly, have you not at least wondered what it would be like to play for the other team just once? yes.
6. Do you tend to think that all gay men have aids or are hiv positive?
no
7. Do you think you are immune to hiv?
no
8. Do you think domestic partners of the same sex in long term relationships deserve a legal "partnership" (not necessarly marriage)?

9. Don't you ever get bored with having no sense of style and flair?
I have plenty.
10. Do you get tired of being "tied down." (Not that kinda "tied down" Celyn, get your mind out of the trash can! )
no.
Honestly Fred, I would NEVER want to "switch sides." I want (and have) children. I am crazy about women. I have no attraction to men whatsoever. I have no problem with gay people. None at all. Unless they are the REAL fairy type. That kind of sickens me.

Can I answer this too?
1. Do ya'll sit in stare at couples of the same sex and wonder if they are gay or just friends or business partners?
-Sometimes it's hard to tell. Mostly I hear bells and whistles when they're "together".
2. Are ya'll afraid we are getting laid more than you are?
-People get laid according to their ability, not their sexual orientation.
3. Do ya'll envy our freedom sometimes?
-Freedom to be freaks (i.e., leather, bondage, drag, what?) or just freedom to not care anymore about what people think of us cause we've gotten the biggest of the burdens off our chest?
4. "Out" homos -vs- closet cases. Do you have more respect for one than the other or does it matter?
-I respect people that live their lives as themselves. Regardless of what they're hiding or who they're doing unless they're doing it behind their husband/wife's back.
5. Honestly, have you not at least wondered what it would be like to play for the other team just once?
-I have. Didn't care much for it.
6. Do you tend to think that all gay men have aids or are hiv positive?
-No. But way too many do and are. Educated people are sometimes stupid too.
7. Do you think you are immune to hiv?
-Nope. That's why I get tested at least once a year. Should be twice a year, but if you've ever waited for the results and knew that there was that time, I mean, he didn't even have teeth!, then you know what I mean. Nerve-racking shit.
8. Do you think domestic partners of the same sex in long term relationships deserve a legal "partnership" (not necessarly marriage)?
Legally, it really doesn't matter to me. There are other ways around the system to protect yourself and your partner. Of course, it would be a whole lot easier if we could stand in front of our families and friends and say "I do". Of course, having never met a man that I would care to spend the rest of my life with, I wouldn't bother.
9. Don't you ever get bored with having no sense of style and flair?
-N/A
10. Do you get tired of being "tied down."
-We get tied down sometimes too. I think there are times we get shoved into those images of what fags are. I'm not, although I can play the part well when I need or want to, like that. I am what I am and who I am too. It's all a package deal. For all of us.
Thanks...I feel better now. :D
I guess since I was mentioned in the question, I'll answer. :)
1. Do ya'll sit in stare at couples of the same sex and wonder if they are gay or just friends or business partners?
* never happened, although I've watched couples and wondered if they were having an affair.
2. Are ya'll afraid we are getting laid more than you are?
* what's there to be afraid of? If you are, then good for you. If you aren't, them I'm sorry.
3. Do ya'll envy our freedom sometimes?
* what freedom are you talking about? The homosexual agenda in the US has taught me that gays/lesbians are the same as heteros - therefore, I don't see what this question is about.
4. "Out" homos -vs- closet cases. Do you have more respect for one than the other or does it matter?
* I can see that many homosexuals would have many different pressures; so I don't necessarily respect or value one over the other.
5. Honestly, have you not at least wondered what it would be like to play for the other team just once?
* yes I have - and from your earlier posts - I didn't like those thoughts. *grin*
6. Do you tend to think that all gay men have aids or are hiv positive?
* that would be pretty dumb, eh? The chances of that disease can be enhanced by your lifestyle choice, but not by being homosexual.
7. Do you think you are immune to hiv?
* now, that really would be dumb. Of course not.
8. Do you think domestic partners of the same sex in long term relationships deserve a legal "partnership" (not necessarly marriage)?
* haven't processed that one through yet. My first instinct is to say that it doesn't matter to me.
9. Don't you ever get bored with having no sense of style and flair?
* wellllll....if you want to call it "style and flair", then no, I'm not bored one iota.
10. Do you get tired of being "tied down." (Not that kinda "tied down" Celyn, get your mind out of the trash can! )
* everyone is tied down by different things. What may tie me down may not be what ties you down. We each have our own set of circumstances that differs from everyone else's. Do YOU get tired of being tied down????

naaaa, why should I?
4. "Out" homos -vs- closet cases. Do you have more respect for one than the other or does it matter? naaaa, because I can see how it might be life-threatening if you came out to people who were gonna beat you to death, althought isn't not being able to be yourself another form of mental torture thats self-inflicted?
5. Honestly, have you not at least wondered what it would be like to play for the other team just once?
of course, I have dreams like that every couple of months
6. Do you tend to think that all gay men have aids or are hiv positive?
thats such bullshit! just like larryd said all the gay people I know are in monogomous relationships, except for fred and builder so if neither of you are infected then wtf chance is there????
7. Do you think you are immune to hiv? I WISH. I worry about that all the time!!!! thats why I practically require a medical history going back the last two decades and up to date lab work!
8. Do you think domestic partners of the same sex in long term relationships deserve a legal "partnership" (not necessarly marriage)?
TOTALLY, I watched a couple of my very good friends get "married" and I'd give there relationship odds of outlasting just about any other married couple by 75% EASY!
9. Don't you ever get bored with having no sense of style and flair? Who said I have none??????
10. Do you get tired of being "tied down." (Not that kinda "tied down" Celyn, get your mind out of the trash can! )
no, as a matter of fact I would love nothing better then just coming home to my man every night. As long as we love each other, what else matters? I'm tired of being lonely:( :( :(

Hey Fred, since you say Breeders, can I say Fag?
Of course, the history of the word fag is kinda disturbing. The term can be used in humor, as a double entendre.
For example, "I like to keep a few fags handy for a cold night"
That's just funny. I thought it up just now, off the top of my head.
Not as funny as Chapter 13, but still funny.

Really, if I find anything offensive in this thread (other than the reference to some sort of homo agenda) it's the assumption that heterosexual = breeder. I go straight but you wouldn't catch me DEAD makin' babies. I took care of that fertility ailment before it took care of me.

Well that's just tough shit ain't it Jasper? Stereotypes are not meant to be politically correct; they're meant to be offensive. If you're really as bright as you appear, maybe it's a good thing your gene pool was drained.
:( Aw, don't get your panties in a wad Fred, I wasn't trying to pick on you really.....I just wanted to make a distinction between hetero and breeder, cause the idea of having children is far more repulsive to me than anything to do with gays or homosexuality. I'd play for your team long before I'd make more of myself. And I agree with you on the gene pool thing.
Seriously, I meant no foul towards you. In fact, I figured I'd get a few responses from some others in this thread long before I got one from you.
i dont think stereotypes are meant to be offensive, i think they're supposed to be used as guidelines.
is it stereotypical to say that a big ass dog (eg: rotweiler) is dangerous? yes. and you best believe i'm going to teach my son to avoid them.
is it stereotypical to think that really old people are poor drivers? yes. and you best believe that i speed up and pass them, just to avoid any accident.
they don't always hold true, but, generally speaking, they do. that's why i like "generalizations" better than "stereotypes".

All blacks are lazy?
All white men have little dicks?
All homos are fairy's?
All fat people sweat a lot?
All Mexicans steal?
I dunno Larry- sounds kinda offensive to me.

1. Do ya'll sit in stare at couples of the same sex and wonder if they are gay or just friends or business partners?
>>>Depends on how bored I am, I often entertain myself by looking at people and thinking of what their lifestyle might be based on their appearence. I especially like to think of the lezbos...gay business partners are funny!
2. Are ya'll afraid we are getting laid more than you are?
>>>No, I gets mine!
3. Do ya'll envy our freedom sometimes?
>>>You have no more freedom than anyone else, unless there is legislation that I am unaware of?
4. "Out" homos -vs- closet cases. Do you have more respect for one than the other or does it matter?
>>>Openly gay people are at least honest. However, I sometimes find them to be the Pissy Fag types...don't care for that. Gay people don't bother me unless they are all up in your face about it and actively recruiting.
5. Honestly, have you not at least wondered what it would be like to play for the other team just once?
>>>Nope, not one little bit. Pussy is just tooooooooooooo good!
6. Do you tend to think that all gay men have aids or are hiv positive?
>>>No, I think that is extremely narrow minded. I think they run a higher risk, but druggies are at even higher risk. Depends on their lifestyle.
7. Do you think you are immune to hiv?
>>>No, I've done some women of questionable morals in my younger years. Luckily, I survived.
8. Do you think domestic partners of the same sex in long term relationships deserve a legal "partnership" (not necessarly marriage)?
>>>Yes, the peice of paper doesn't mean much to me. It's about ones commitment.
9. Don't you ever get bored with having no sense of style and flair?
>>>Being gay or straight has nothing to do with style...kind of a stupid question!
10. Do you get tired of being "tied down." (Not that kinda "tied down" Celyn, get your mind out of the trash can!
>>>No! I love my wife and I can't imagine ever breaking my commitment to her...that doesn't confront me none.
