Oh yeah, and the Smiths. I saw Morrissey solo, but oh, how I'd love to see the Smiths-- even if just to satisfied the uberdepressed sixteen year old that lives within!
oh, we can go back and see bands that aren't still around? like, in their prime?
yeah, i'll be at the smiths concert, too, then.
all time favorite driving song has to be "how soon is now".
lord, i could post a load of bands, then...
And if a double decker bus killed the both of us
To die by your side
The pleasure, the priveledge is mine
Ooooohhhhh, Morrissey. You know, I held his thumb at the show! Yes, I know how cool that makes me! Imagine seeing Marr up there too. Hang the dj, Hang the dj, Hang the dj ....... Panic in the streets of London. Panic in the streets of Mecklenburg.
Uh-oh, I've pulled out the vinyl.
There's too much caffeine in your bloodstream
and a lack of real spice in your life, he said
A rush and a push and the land that we stand on is ours
Damn, vinyl is so sweet!!
johnny marr was one rockin' dude back in like 87.
and if you must go to work tomorrow
well, if I were you I wouldn't bother
for there are brighter sides to life
and I should know because I've seen them
but not very often...
no, no, no....THIS one...
they said:
"there's too much caffeine

man, im going to be singing smiths songs all night.
this is starting to freak me out.
:guitar:
A double-bed
and a stalwart lover, for sure
these are the riches of the poor
The death of a disco dancer
Well, I'd rather not get involved
what is freaking you out? it is the smiths. just get depressed and go with the vibe of 1987. We couldn't all be cool kids in high school. And thank god. That means I have tons of Smiths albums and not a single Rush album!
no, freaking me out that we posted beastie boys and the same smiths lyric without seeing each other's posts.
my influences aren't exactly mainstream.
i'll have to dig out where i wrote them all down once...
I guess that perhaps once or twice in your life you just get lucky enough to bump into one other human being with really good taste! This is one of those nights.
Huge test for anyone out there (but I have seen them in concert-- and got autographs!!)
Remember the Trash Can Sinatras??
Oh, I loved them!

how bizzare. i was going to post the exact same thing to you. go figure.
You're evil and you lie
and if you should die
I may feel slightly sad
but I won't cry.
Bet you were thinking that, too!!!
OOOO, I have to add Prince to my list of who I'd love to see but never have!!!

RUSH
Wish I'd seen Queen as well.
The Cult
Outkast and Parliament are playing together somewhere in SC coming up. Sounds like a hell of a show.
I'd like to have seen Ben Folds Five before they broke up, I'd like to see D'Angelo in a smaller setting, Aimee Mann might be interesting, I really would have liked to have heard just about anyone in jazz in the 50's but I'll narrow it to Clifford Brown. I was going to be too young to see or even know half the music I would have liked, but I would have loved to have seen Hendrix when he was with the Band of Gypsies doing the blues, and James Brown early on.
