Looks like the Phillies have assembled a real contender. The deals for Tomey and Millwood were huge. Many have picked them to win their division and I tend to agree.

Both Thome and Millwood moves are HUGE. I couldn't believe the Braves would trade/give Millwood to a divisional foe for a second string catcher  0-3 so far for the Braves. Yes it's early but still I am loving it

see above. 17-1 to the Marlins. Maddux got shelled. 7 earned or so in 2 innings. Doesn't look good early in hotLanta.

Montreal, Phillies and Braves all tied for first place. Going to be a fun season to watch

Montreal will fall apart in the second half of the season... and it will be a 2 horse race... well unless the Mets start earning their paychecks

i knew it would be just a matter of time before the braves started picking it up. they have won 9 of 10 and are at the top of the division...again. like i said, no one wins the division in April.

No chance of that. Thome has always been a slow starter. I just like the trio of starters the Phillies have put together
Millwood
