Heard on WBT this morning that the American Medical Association has completed their own study and have found the diet NOT A HEALTH RISK. Their study will be published next month. I believe the said it will be in the American JOurnal of Medicine or something like that.

Yeah, but "ass lover" is a synonym for "gay lover", whereas "roommate" is not a synonym for "ass lover."

So A implies B, but C does not imply A?

A study in today's Journal of the American Medical Association finds that diets, including low-carb plans such as the Atkins diet, work well because they ultimately reduce caloric intake, not because they restrict carbohydrates. Nutritionists find that while there are not short-term health risks associated with Atkins-type diets, the risks to long-term health remain debatable. The Philadelphia Inquirer (4/9), MSNBC (4/8), http://www.usatoday.com/news/health/2003-04-08-atkins-analysis_x.htm, The Wall Street Journal (subscription required) (4/9)

If he had a little more weight on him, he might have bounced safely back to his feet. Dieting kills.
