The people I've talked to are as shocked as I was to read this. They haven't heard anything along those lines, but I will continue to ask around also.

Here's my reasoning. I went to the Big I when Jester was there. He was my golf coach, so I like to follow him. I had to go back to the Big I to cover a story the other day and one of his Piedmont assistants was back at Independence as an administrator. I asked another teacher about that, and she told me that he came back because Jester left Piedmont.

Braves, as you know, I support Kannapolis athletics. As for Coach Jester now, I have no idea of his current status, nor do I have an interest. I wish him and the Piedmont school only the best...

I saw Rusty at the Piedmont vs. Concord game last Tuesday. Did something happen to him????

This is the 2nd response from somebody who saw him still with the Piedmont program

I talked to a friend of his yesterday, and he wasn't exactly sure what is going on. He heard that Jester was taking a year off, since he had so much vacation built up. I have no clue.

is he gonna be there next year or not? i know they lost coach led to indy and have some new coaches. panthers do not have talent this year they had last two years so it would be a good decision on his part. anyone know the truth yet?

With one of his main men coach Ledbetter heading back to Indy and another top assistant coach Gresham being diagnosed with lukemia it will be tough for coach Jester this season at Piedmont.Lets all keep coach Gresham in our prayers.
