I'm wanting to write a book on the history of the longest and best highschool rival football games in NC.
I know we have already had a thread about best rival games, list all the games, I don't want to miss any game.

Confused. Do you want a list of the longest running rivalries or a list of the longest actual games played (like a bunch of OT's and a 71-70 final score)?

Example of what I'm looking for Kannapolis-Concord. They have played every year, since the 20's or 30's.

Thanks for the clarification. One place that usually gets overlooked is the far west mountain rivalries. Games like Murphy/Swain usually bring everyone from both communities, but because they are small schools, they don't get the recognition of the "big" schools like Freedom/East Burke or Kannapolis/Concord.
