He started it... ;)

I've been in a no excercise slump the last 4 weeks. When I'm going hard, a good hour of Mt. Biking at Fracis Beatty Park is my favorite thing to do.

best thing you can do is start walking. warm up for 7 minutes, walk hard for 20, cool down for 7.

get up to where you an walk 40 hard minutes, three times a week.

add in some weight training -- simple stuff.

you'll be good to go in just 10 weeks, but you'll notice a difference in just 2.

Damn, now I feel like a candy ass. Guess thats why my stomach isnt hard.

4 times/week: 35 minutes on my Elliptical, resistance setting=3, then crunches and pushups for about 15 minutes or until either my joints or my stomach contents threaten to go.

One thing that helps me tremendously is excersising at the same time everyday. If I wait a couple of hours longer the same workout hurts twice as bad. Sportscenter highlights or a good episode of Law & Order make the time go faster.

Yep, my workout was synched with the daily CENTCOM briefing during the war in Iraq while it was going on. It made the time go a lot quicker.

Monday thru Friday......30 min. cardio(treadmill, elliptical, air-dyne bike) 30 min. weights. I alternate those every day.

With that workout, combined with an extremely heart healthy diet, I've lost 17 lbs, lost 4 waist inches, and look a hell of a lot slimmer in just three months.

Oh yeah, and I feel extremely good.

I'd loose another couple hours of sleep a night to get all that done. And I'd be really tired.

I'm just lucky I can get away with long lunches. After work, by the time your done working out, traffic is gone. I'd rather work out than sit in traffic.

Hill walking and then firewood hauling - that's the basis of my exercise routine (I'm not very good with Gyms). I used to do this six times a week - but I've dropped it down a bit :(.

Every other Tuesday afternoon I strip naked (except for a mesh tube top, stovepipe hat and clogs with spurs) and do deep knee bends for about an hour by the side of the road.
