Tarheels and Wolfpack both advance to super regionals.

UNC plays at USC friday, sat, sun.

Anyone else keeping up with this?

I'm keeping up with it just a little more than I am the MLB Draft.

Y'all know the MLB draft is today, right?

oh yeah, theres a charlotte pitcher projected in the first round. i'm waiting to see how the locals did.

wossa, i thought i had read in a thread over in preps that bard was a top 20 guy. apparently i missed the part where it said in nc. any idea where that was and if that was my case?

espn and espn2 will air the super regionals, starting friday.

yep..alabama used up their bats in SECT and the first game of regionals. Scored 48 runs in the 4 games, then went cold.

4-5 Gamecocks TOP 7th

Archbank (starting pitcher) settling down for the gamecocks.

Tarheels fall 5-4 to the Gamecocks. Weather turned pretty dreary. All the runs in the game scored by the 4th. Tarheels left a lot of runners on, couldnt get a timely hit.

Game 2 scheduled for tomorrow, although i'd be extremely surprised if mother nature allows that to happen.
