View Full Version : Favorite Scores (Movie Soundtracks)
Right now Lord of the Rings is suiting me well.
In no order...
Jurassic Park (I)
Braveheart
Saving Private Ryan
Crimson Tide
Gladiator
Schindler's List
Favorite composers for movie scores are Horner, Williams, and Zimmer.
Always liked As Good As It Gets' makeup.
Pulp Fiction is one of the few IMO that brings together music of varied and interesting content that somewhat works into the storyline and still makes a good interesting stand-alone compilation.
Ooh, can anyone tell me why the soundtrack and score from The Birds is so interesting?
soundtrack to "end of days"
also "sliding doors"
"forest gump"
"tequila sunrise" this is my favorite! the whole dang movie and the soundtrack kicks!

O Brother really does have a great soundtrack.
American Beauty has a great score -- very distinctive.
Jackie Brown is good.

The hard to get Risky Business sound track. It could not be made in the US because the record companies and movie studio could not make a deal. Got one of a very few that was made in England.

You mean the score or the "music of"? I used to like Tangerine Dream's scores, but they got kinda old.
There's no added ambient noise in The Birds. No songs, no mood music, just the surroundings the entire movie.
