just watched him hit another bomb. i don't see many that hit the ball as hard as this guy. god i'd hate to play third with him up. he sure never gets cheated on the swing. just a braves fans view? or you impartial people agree?

i thought the same until he came to the braves and i actually got to know a little about the guy, and hear his story. he's been screwed over a few times, but since that puts him where he is, i say way to go san diego and l.a.

Such a shame that Sheffield is not in the top 5 in All-Star voting. I would assume Corky Sosa and Barry Bonds are leading the votes in the Outfield.

BTW, heard on TBS today that Sheff fired his agent, I hope to god Atlanta makes an effort to keep him.

He's told the Braves they better make an offer before the season ends or they may not be able to sign him.

Shurholtz (sp?) was intervied on ESPN during the game yesterday. Very good interview, btw, and they talked on that very subject. Said he had talked to Gary recently and they had discussed the subject but that they were both of the understanding that they were going to wait until the season was over to do anything.
