Okay here is the deal my dad said i was pissed cause he wouldnt let me get "tatts" and my ears pierced. He was misleading, i dont want tattoos and i only want 1 ear pierced anf FYI its my LEFT EAR.and besides the only reason he is being mean to me like this is because i keep bugging him to buy me an amp for my guitar. Just so you know he is a cheapo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And im playing on my computer speakers and on a 60.00 dollar guitar.

Yeah that's kinda been a problem. When he first deciced to be mugsy, he was real into sneaks and jams but kinda felt that things like dribbling and shooting were optional. The guitar thing is kinda a reaction to a series of basketball like adventures. So if he shows me that he's gonna really play he gets a good axe, If he's just gonna sit around and act musical then I'd rather spend the money elsewhere.

he's probably pretty smart. i brought home shitty grades all the time because i wasn't challenged by school. it was boring. i never studied. never did homework. never read the books. that's why i'm an autodidact.

school is hard for creative, smart kids. it's too confining. it's too homogonized. it's too dumbed-down.

i remember that in 7th grade, i wanted to prove for one semester to my parents that i could do well. i brought home 6 A's and a B -- then went right back to C's, D's and F's the next semester.

i did just enough to survive and advance.

school sucks. i learn what i want to learn.

I think that AN earring is ok as long as it's worn in the ear and not trhough the tongue, eyebrow, lip or anywhere else that it's going to screw with the way that you talk or leave a permanent visible scar. It is after all, an EARring.

i also never had a job until i was out of high school. i never wanted stuff either though. in fact, i got the job (in a warehouse at a door store) so i could buy a computer (a commodore amiga) before my freshman year at college.

the computer got fried when we spilled beer on it while playing earl weaver baseball one night in the dorm.

i also never drank any beer until my freshman year in college and never had a girlfriend until then, either. i had plenty of girls that i messed around with on a very regular basis, but nothing that i needed money for "dates". they were all in the neighborhood.

i made it about 6-9 weeks into college before i stopped going to classes and stayed up all night partying with the guys and girls. oh, the girls...

i started work at the newspaper in the fall of 1990 (graduated HS in 1987) and i haven't stopped working since.
