sax: Maceo Parker, most versatile sax around. Screw you if a sax isn't in your band.

vox: Elvis? no way. Most will argue but I gotta go Prince here. I might argue Victor Wooten over Claypool but it's sorta push there.
I'm all good with Townsend on rhythm but Billy Corgan didn't even play lead in his own band, did he? I thought James Iha was the lead.

James Iha played rythm guitar, I believe. billy corgan actually played all the instruments on Gish ('cept maybe drums). I wouldn't call him the greatest, but when he plays crazy leads, he can play some wicked shit. I just love his style, tho I don't think they put out good music anymore.

Ringo Starr travels with an Allstar Band. It keeps changing. I saw them @ 4 1/2 years ago with Peter Frampton, Gary Brooker, Jack Bruce and some drummer from Guess Who or something, but the three I mentioned, damn. It was a really good f'ckn concert. Brooker wailed on "Do you feel like I do" and Frampton just tore up everything he played. I've seen Clapton 3 times and he plays a few Cream songs, but let just tell you, Frampton can have a slow hand too. I'm not saying he was better the Clapton, but I won't say he wasn't better either. I saw Frampton tour with Stevie Nicks about15 years ago and wasn't nearly impressed. The best part though, was Brooker. Those 2 looked like they were 60 but played like teenagers.
