Agreed, Math. Imagine lining-up Price as the blitzing LB, right beside Peppers. I'd wager a draw or quick dump-off would be on the QBs plan.
Wished the Panthers had picked-up Burnette, too. Danimal is a load.
Looks like if he makes it, it won't be with the Panthers.

On roster cuts: We released some guys today: (long snapper) Ken Amato, (tackle) Trohn Carswell, (tight end) Shawn Draper and (linebacker) Shawn Price as we get to our player limit for training camp.

That sucks.
Too bad. He must not be learning anything at all to be cut this quick.
nothing lost. Flugence, if not the extra Manning, are the talented ones. Price was a guy who was a good athlete and a good football player but that doesn't always mean anything in the pros - usually doesn't. The only guy in recent history to succeed with that skill set was Greg Lloyd, who we'd all agree was about a hundred times more talented and one of the most instinctive players in the NFL at any given time.

That's just it. Another article I read yesterday said he'd been steadily learning everything they were throwing at him.
he had an awful huge learning curve, especially if he needed to relearn 80 plays in one day, or whatever it was.
He just wasn't going to ever be good at coverage, and I question his instincts. That's just the wya it goes.
