Tallahassee, FL - Challenger Center
Also, on the northeast side of Tallahassee, is the Burt Reynolds House. Built in 1979, Burt Reynolds never lived this 3-story mansion, and neither did anyone else, for that matter. I'm still not sure why they named it after him, except that he also went to Florida State. No, it is not open to the public, but you can take pictures of it. Directions: Take Exit 30 off I-10, go south on FL 61, and turn right at Metropolitan Blvd. [Ian Beverly, 05/08/1999]
rumor had it that burt reynolds paid to have the house built, but it was never lived in.
