Sosa's back!

Sammy's back and knocked the s*!t out of the ball. He hit a 464ft two run hommer in the fifth at Cinci. I know most of ya'll have it in for him after the cork bit, but the man can hit. I'm not a Sosa fan at all, even though I'm a die hard Cubs fan, but the man can hit and field. He even had a great diving/sliding catch to help bring in the win. After all the hoopla and X-Rays showing no other corked bats I think the man deserves a second chance. I'm expecting some real fireworks on this so don't hold back.

Oh by the way rsgal look who's Number 1 in their division! :tongue3:

I'm more impressed with Sheffield's hitting. At least he doesn't strike out every other AB and hits homers on a pace better than monthly.

You're right, of course, but at least allow us Cub fans to fantasize a little while longer. Usually, the Cubs are out of the race by Memorial Day. The fact that they have been tied for first or been in sole possession for first place is driving most Cub fans to orgasm.

Let us enjoy the exhiliration of it before the arrow shoots us through the heart yet another year. :D
