Rangers are waiting to see if Juan Gone will approve a trade to Expos. Rangers paying the majority of the last year or his current deal. With Vlad Guerreo coming back in 2 weeks this would be a nice boast to the Expos Rangers deal Gonzalez (http://espn.go.com/mlb/news/2003/0624/1572399.html)

Other than Montreal is contending for a wildcard (Texas aint) and he can walk next year to wherever he wants. Sporting News is Juan is rethinking his early hardline after talking (negotiating) with Expos GM's. maybe the lure of playing in Puerto Rico (his home land) for a few weeks is appealing?

I'm guessing the Mets will dismantle.

Why should Juan play for a team who is playing in 2 cities this year   ? ? A team that in 2004 could be playing in Montreal, Portland, DC, Charlotte, Zebulon, San Juan, New Orleans, Vancouver, etc. ? ? ?

Guess this begs to ask the question..........If the Knights were raided, would the city notice?

IMO, 3-4 players (Gload, Myles & Harris come to mind) are about all that stand out on that team.

Everytime, I see Rauch pitch or Borchard with a chance to do something at the plate.............they fail miserably.

However, if I was White Sox management, I'd pull the whole damn team out of here. I've been to 5 games so far this season and the cumulative attendance might fill the stadium one time......and yes, the games were on the weekend.

Man I would seriously hate to see the Knights leave. Having a AAA team in Charlotte is nice. Seeing the professional players come down for injury rehab, and future pro players going up
