Just remember what got you there in the first place. It'll fight the temptation. Hang in there.

It's called negative reinforcement. I'm hoping you'll develop an eating disorder that threatens your life while starving you to death. It's not my perfect punishment for you...but it'll work for now.

Just don't eat them you weakling. Go get an appreciation for real food and you'll find it's easier to avoid crap. Temptation. It's not like its alcohol or cigarettes, it a fuckin' donut. You worried about the flab around the middle or are you thinking a diet will toughen you up? 'Cuz if you can't avoid a donut to the point you have to blame your co-workers or even the donut's mere existence for your problem then that's what you need buttercup... to toughen the fuck up...
GOD I hate it when people have to pick on donuts.
AGGGG! MY HEAD! AGGGGGG!

Is that "appreciate" or a "get lost"?

Are you still doing Atkins Math? How's it going?
I've got 3 more days of induction--the first 2 weeks that is. I may do it for a bit longer.

I haven't been on a strict Atkins diet, but I've been avoiding carbs for about a month and a half. That's the longest I've ever gone without freedom fries.
I've lost about 12 pounds, down to 212. If I eat out, I eat something like a salad or not-so-bad like a sammich. Bunky will see me 3 times this week come Friday.:)

That's great math. :xyzthumbs How much more do you want to lose?
What do you get when you go to bunky's--just salads? We are probably going to visit while down there.

I get a sammich and tater chips. But I also eat really low-carb for dinner.
I'm safe from the donuts. They were out when I went to get my drink.

There's your problem right there. As long as you consider yourself to be "on a diet" then you always have the option of going "off" it. The only real way to health and fitness is to simply be healthy and fit, always. That way you don't even want a donut because it's not part of your healthy life, but if you for some reason decide you want one, then you haven't somehow failed.
Diets are for housewives. Being healthy works for everyone.

I call it a diet really because it's easier than saying everything you just said. Eating healthy is what I wanted to accomplish. Now if I could just get back to my nightly walk I'd be set.
