Abbey Road

SNL reruns were on the other day and Chris Farley is interviewing McCartney. He asked him about that line, and then he's like, "Is that true?".

guess you had to be there

Technically, the song was "In the End", from the album, Abbey Road.

Here's a couple.

1

Christ, you know it ain't easy, you know how hard it can be

The way things are going, they're gonna crucify me!

2

When I wake up early in the morning,
Lift my head, I'm still jawning.
When I'm in the middle of a dream,
Stay in bed, float up stream.

1) 'The Ballad of John & Yoko'

2) 'I'm Only Sleeping'

And even more technically, the name of the song is 'The End', although they do sing 'and in the end'.

I like this one:

After a while you start to smile now you feel cool
Then you decide to take a walk by the old school
Nothing has changed it's still the same
I've got nothing to say but it's OK
